We are getting married in a truly beautiful, beloved place. The Lake Tahoe region is extremely popular during the summer, so lodging fills up FAST. Whether you're looking to camp, stay in a hotel, or enjoy your own AirBnb, make reservations ASAP (no, a year in advance is not too early, even for reserving campgrounds).

As you're booking your travel, note that Sacramento, CA and Reno, NV are the two closest airports; each is about a 2-hour drive from our venue. San Francisco is another option, and is just over 3 hours away. If you’re flying in, be sure to rent a car or coordinate with friends/family!

    This venue is now fully booked!

    At 20 minutes from the HideOut, this is the closest lodging opportunity and is a simply gorgeous spot with tons of activities. A shuttle to and from the venue will be available on the day of.

  • Caples Lake Resort

    Snag a cabin or room in the lodge at this vintage classic, right on beautiful Caples Lake! Boat and kayak rentals, swimming opportunities, and fishing are all available. 30 minutes from the HideOut.

    Looking for a bit of mountain luxury? Stay in a gorgeous little cabin in nearby(ish) Hope Valley, 40 minutes from the HideOut. Yurts and campsites are also available.

    There will be some AirBnbs in the region for you to choose from (but reserve early). Use “Pioneer”, “Kirkwood”, or “South Lake Tahoe” as your search queries. Kirkwood-area rentals will likely be the closest.

  • Camp at the HideOut

    Our amazing venue has camping available for up to 30 people, both in RVs and tents. Reach out to us directly if you’re interested in camping on-site, as spots will fill up!

    Note: No fires or camp stoves permitted, and you’ll need to provide your own food for non-wedding meals.

  • Camping Nearby

    If you just want to get away from it all, there are plenty of campgrounds in the area! Take a look at the following options: Silver Lake West Campground, Woods Lake Campground, Kirkwood Campground. If you want to camp at one of these spots, reserve as soon as possible, they can fill up as much as a year early!

    Please note: Wildfire risk is real! There will likely be no fires or camp stoves permitted.

  • Kirkwood Mountain Resort

    If you are running low on options and not looking for luxury, check out Kirkwood. Note: this place is definitely not fancy, but it’s in a beautiful setting and is only 30 minutes from the HideOut.
